Gone are the days where anything vegan is considered the less desirable option. @Tasteliketom shares more from Crosstown’s biggest Veganuary menu yet!
Back in 2017, Crosstown launched its first range of vegan sourdough doughnuts. The eggs are replaced with alternatives such as chia seeds and coconut butter. These help to replicate the same textures of their Sourdough Doughnuts. You’d never guess they were vegan if you didn’t know already! They’ve earned critical acclaim over the last few years, having won ‘Best Doughnuts’ by Vegans of London 2019, and ‘Best Vegan Doughnuts’ by PETA in 2018, so really must be doing something right!
Veganuary 2023 at Crosstown is set to be its biggest yet, with three limited edition doughnuts and one dough bite flavour joining the menu.
The Veganuary flavours join Crosstown’s core range of vegan doughnuts which include favourite Dark Chocolate Truffle and Peanut Butter & Blackcurrant. Alongside their delicious vegan sweet treats, Crosstown also has a dedicated vegan store in London’s Marylebone, serving up exclusive vegan versions of its popular Homemade Raspberry Jam and Sri Lankan Cinnamon Sugar flavours.
The new flavours include; Rhubarb and Jasmine, Strawberry Cheesecake, Blood Orange and a smaller ‘dough bite’ filled with Pistachio Crème (as if it couldn’t get any better!). Don’t worry if like us, you haven’t got a Crosstown near you – you can get boxes of six or 12 delivered next day straight to your front door! Ours were kindly sent to us by the editor Kai, after the wife and kids missed out on the Crosstown Winter doughnuts range at the My Soho Times Winter Showcase Day last month… but it was I who nearly missed out on this batch! The kids absolutely loved them, and I was lucky to get a bite!

Each of the flavours has been crafted using high quality ingredients from around the world.”, shared Adam Wills, Crosstown Co-founder.
