After a three-year stint with celebrity chef and Jamaica’s most award-winning chef Collin Brown, Turtle Bay has just announced a new collaboration with Alexander Mair aka Chef AJ, founder of ‘All In A Box’, following a phenomenal year of achievements including being invited out to Germany for the EURO’s 2024 to cook for the England team.
Chef Collaboration: Turtle Bay Partners With London Chef AJ For Latest Collaboration
Turtle Bay, the vibrant Caribbean-inspired restaurant group, has announced an exciting partnership with the innovative meal-kit brand, All In A Box, founded by the talented Chef AJ. Together, they are set to launch a delightful new dish as a limited-time special – and they need your vote for the best dish!
To decide which dish will remain on the menu, Chef AJ will be hosting a supper club at Turtle Bay in Brixton on 30th October where guests will be able to vote between three crafted dishes:
- Baked coconut and spice-crumbed chicken, served with a pina colada salsa, purple slaw and scotch bonnet rice and peas
- Jerk-smoked Lamb Lollipops with griddled watermelon feta and mint salad with Caribbean couscous
- Curried Goat Burger with scotch bonnet jam, pickled red onion, plantain fries and jerk dipping broth.
Guests can look forward to enjoying flavour-packed dishes crafted with only the freshest ingredients, all served in a lively and colourful atmosphere.
All in A Box
The journey of Alexander-James (AJ), started in the midst of lockdown, when he identified an exciting opportunity in the Home Counties for contactless meal delivery that was missing out on services like Deliveroo or Uber Eats. This inspired him to create ‘All In A Box’, embracing a ‘Chill & Grill’ ethos. He developed ready-to-cook meal kits filled with all the ingredients needed for a quintessential British BBQ, thoughtfully marinated and portioned. His venture has seen tremendous success, leading to an incredible opportunity for AJ to showcase his culinary talents at the EUROs 2024 in Germany, catering for the England men’s players and their family and friends. AJ’s culinary creations have also delighted stars like Rochelle and Marvin Humes, Shirley Ballas, and Jo Malone.
Turtle Bay also collaborated with Jamaican celebrity chef, Collin Brown, who works as an executive chef, injecting a number of new flavours and ingredients, and creating new dishes that have become staples on the menu.
Guests can book now for October 30th where they can visit and try out a 5-course tasting menu, where they will vote on which dish remains on the menu until 17th November.
